What RENU 28 is like
RENU 28 is ASEA’s longest-running skincare product: a clear, colorless gel in a white tube with a silver cap. You shake the tube, smooth the gel over freshly cleansed skin, and let it dry before anything else goes on.
Its ingredient list is short: water, a clay-type mineral thickener (sodium magnesium fluorosilicate) and two salts. ASEA calls it a “Revitalizing Redox Gel.”
What makes it easy to fit in:
- One product, one step. It doesn’t replace your cleanser or moisturizer; it sits between them.
- Face and body. The same tube works by the sink in the morning and by the shower in the evening.
- Quick to dry, with a pause to let it dry fully before the next product.

What RENU Advanced is like
RENU Advanced is a set of four facial products in a graduated peach-to-coral color range, lightest for the first step and deepest for the last:
- Foaming Cleanser: comes out of the pump as a soft white foam.
- Balancing Toner: a watery toner you press in with your hands or a cotton pad.
- Glow Serum: a light, clear serum with a faint golden tint.
- Hydrating Cream: a soft ivory cream in an airless jar you press to dispense.
The appeal is that the routine is planned for you. Each product tells you how much to use, and the four are designed to be used together, morning and evening. The full set is fragrance-free.

Which one suits you?
Choose RENU 28 if:
- You already have a cleanser and moisturizer you love.
- You want a quick step you can use on your body, too.
- You prefer a very short ingredient list.
Choose RENU Advanced if:
- You’re starting a routine from scratch or want to replace a mixed shelf.
- You like clear steps and amounts to follow.
- You want everything in one matching set.
Choose both if:
- You want the full routine: cleanse, gel, tone, serum, moisturize.
How to use them together
Using both is simple. The gel goes on right after cleansing:
- RENU Advanced Foaming Cleanser: 2–3 pumps, massaged in, rinsed with warm water.
- RENU 28: enough gel to cover your face. Let it dry fully.
- RENU Advanced Balancing Toner: about a teaspoon, pressed in.
- RENU Advanced Glow Serum: 1–2 pumps. Wait at least 30 seconds after RENU 28 before this step.
- RENU Advanced Hydrating Cream: a pea-size amount.
This follows the product-specific sequence explained in what order skincare products go in.
Choose for the routine you want
Neither is “better.” They do different jobs. RENU 28 is one flexible step for face and body; RENU Advanced is a whole facial routine in four bottles. Start with the one that matches the routine you want, and add the other later if you like.
